SUNPLUS was founded by husband-and-wife team Scott and Heather Mehler.  They both have a lifelong connection to the outdoors that began under the Southern California sun. From long days at the beach to hours spent training in the ocean or pool, sun exposure was simply a part of everyday life—but with one big difference – Scott lived his life under the sun often without proper protection.

After facing ongoing skin cancer beginning at a young age and with Heather standing at his side supporting him and seeing firsthand the dangers, their perspectives shifted.  What started as a personal experience became a clear purpose: to create sun care people would actually want to wear—consistently.

They set out to develop formulas that feel as good as they perform—lightweight, effective, and seamlessly integrated into a modern, wellness-driven lifestyle.  And that do more for the skin than mere protection. That also nourish. 

SUNPLUS was built on that vision: better protection, an elevated experience, and products that support both skin health and everyday living.
